Wednesday November 5th is "Take Our Kids to Work Day"

for Grade 9 students.

Take Our Kids to Work day is a national program, now in its 31st edition, that provides students with the opportunity to shadow a parent, guardian, or family friend at their workplace for a day. The theme for 2025 is "Lift Up the Future".

Grade 9 students can select one of the following options:

• Experience a variety of job and career options with a parent/guardian or family friend.
• Engage with resources and activities from The Students Commission of Canada (SCC).

 Please complete the Take Our Kids to Work Day Parent/Guardian Consent Form for your grade 9 student so the school can accurately report their attendance and participation. 

For TOKTW 2025, Cavian House Building is offering 20 spots to John McCrae students. Interested students must pre-register prior to 30 October with Mr. Younger-Lewis or Mr. Rae, Cooperative Education teachers, via Student Services. Please note: only students who have registered will be able to attend at Cavian on Wednesday November 5th.
