On behalf of Build a Dream and in partnership with School Boards across Canada, you are invited to Skilled in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) - Keeping the World Moving, a FREE virtual event taking place on Tuesday, April 12 from 6:00pm-9:00pm EST for parents and high school students.
Skilled in STEM: Keeping the World Moving is a trailblazing event that provides the necessary acknowledgment that individuals in skilled trades and STEM careers have been, and still are, heavily relied upon to keep the world moving during the Covid-19 pandemic.
This interactive virtual event will highlight opportunities in a number of careers, along with Youth Apprenticeship Programs/Pre-apprenticeship to better assist students to make informed career choices. This event will include careers in:

Industrial, Construction, Transportation
STEM
Science, Technology, Engineering, Math
Parents play critical roles in the education of their children. This is an opportunity for families to learn collaboratively about the many careers in these growing sectors.
